I have contacted Philips for information on old Christmas lights, but they have responded that Philips has not produced Christmas lights since many years and therefore are sorry they cannot give any information in this respect. Some replacement bulbs are available thru Aamsco. They handle all European products distributed in the US. Philips 1 Box: 44 x 19,5 cm. “PHILIPS”. Green cloth covered electrical cord with 16 ribbed, different colors cone shaped bakelite sockets with a bakelite washers to keep them upright on the tree. Candle shaped lights, different colors, marked “PHILIPS 14V”. On the inside of the lid the cardboard protection strip is glued. Original? There is a similar box, but the electrical cord has one-colored green bakelite sockets with green metal clips.

Philips 2 Box: 46 x 20 cm. “PHILIPS”. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 green bakelite sockets with green metal clips attached. Original plug with one fixed and one removable pin. Candle shaped lights, different colors, marked “PHILIPS 7V”. Writing on the base of the box “110V” and an old address. No specifications on the box. It looks like something has been glued to the inside of the lid.

Philips 3 Box: 41,5 x 20cm. “PHILIPS”. On the picture, glued on the lid, in the left hand corner “L.KALFF.”, maybe the designer. Green cloth covered electrical cord with 16 green porcelain sockets with green metal clips attached. The original plug has been removed and replaced by a modern extension. Candle shaped lights, different colors are marked “PHILIPS 14V”. On one side of the box is stamped “200-260 Volt”.

Philips 4 Box: 40,5 x 20 cm. “PHILIPS”. Green cloth covered electrical cord with 16, I think wooden sockets with green metal clips attached. The original plug has been replaced by another extension. Candle shaped lights, different colors, marked “PHILIPS 14V”. No other markings on the box.

Philips 5 Box: 48 x 16 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo on top of the lid and on three sides; on the fourth side only the logo. Logo’s are yellow/black and red/yellow. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 plastic petal shaped sockets and a plug, “made in Holland” and “Philips 735”, with one fixed and one removable pin. The cardboard interior is missing. On the side of the lid is stamped “MADE IN HOLLAND 7506/7516 110/130V”. The bulb is engraved “PHILIPS? 14V-3 A HOLLAND”.

Philips 6 Box: 43 x 21,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo on top of the lid and on three sides; on the fourth side only the logo. Logo’s are yellow/black and red/yellow. Green plastic electrical cord with 12 plastic petal shaped sockets of candle shaped bulbs and a plug, “made in Holland” and “Philips 735”, with one fixed and one removable pin. On the side of the lid is stamped “IN HOLLAND 7539/7545 210/240V”.

Philips 7 Box: 39 x 20,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo, also on three sides of the lid. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 plastic (?) colored sockets. In a white panel on the side of lid is stamped “MADE IN HOLLAND 7512/75 216-240V”. Bulb stamped “PHILIPS 14V3W HOLLAND”.

Philips 8 Box: 32,5 x 17,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and Philips logo, also on three sides of the lid. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 white plastic (?) candle shaped sockets with green metal ring clips. Room for one reserve bulb. In a white panel on the side of the lid stamped “MADE IN HOLLAND ….” , and some more, but faded. Someone has written” 130/160 W “ and on the base “110V”. Bulb is stamped “PHILIPS 7V1,5W HOLLAND”

Philips 9 Box: 35,7 x 25 cm. “PHILIPS” and logo on top of the lid. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 plastic candle shaped sockets with green metal ring clips attached. On the bottom of the plastic sockets is the text “PHILIPS IMPORTE DE HOLLANDE MADE IN HOLLAND”. Maybe a cardboard cover over the middle is missing. On the side of the lid in a white panel is stamped “MADE IN HOLLAND 7591/11 110V-130V”. Bulb is stamped “PHILIPS 7V A 67” plus 2 circles. On a similar box someone has written in the white panel “December 1953”.

Philips 10 Box: 27 x 15,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo on top of the lid; on two sides of the lid the logo and on the other “MADE IN HOLLAND”. Green plastic electrical cord with 8 bakelite or plastic sockets. I think some cardboard inside cover is missing. In a white panel on the side of the lid is stamped “IMPORTE DE HOLLANDE 7593/04 TEINTE 210V-240V”. Bulb is stamped “PHILIPS 28V-0,1 A HOLL”.

Philips 11 Box: 45,5 x 21,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and blue logo on the top and on the two long sides of the lid; On one small side only the logo and on the other “PHILIPS” and stamped “7569/220V”. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 green/white plastic candle shaped sockets with a turnable plastic clip attached. Bulbs are marked “PHILIPS 14V 3W HOLLAND”.

Philips 12 Box: 39 x 49 cm. “PHILIPS” and black logo on the top and on the sides of the lid white logo on a black panel. On one side of the lid in a white panel is stamped “7535 2I0/2?0”. Green plastic cord with 16 green petal shaped sockets with green plastic turnable clips and white candle shaped lights. Lights are marked “PHILIPS 14V3W HOLLAND”.

Philips 13 Box: 25,5 x 10,5 and 10,5 cm high. “PHILIPS” in white lettering in a red oval reserve on the sides; on another side “14V Teinte” (colored) stamped in a white square; one short side is missing. In the box is a separate compartment for the candle shaped lights, different colors, marked on the base “PHILIPS 14V HOLLAND”. The cord is missing.

Philips 14 Box: 30 x 28,5 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo, on three sides of the lid. Green plastic electrical cord with 16 dark green bakelite sockets, each with corresponding bakelite washer, and white candle shaped bulbs. The plug is one fixed and one plug. It is marked “250V 6A PHILIPS 735” and on the other side “IMPORTE DE HOLLANDE MADE IN HOLLAND HOLLANDA”; the bulbs “PHILIPS 14V3W HOLLAND”. On one side of the lid in a yellow serve is stamped “MADE IN HOLLAND 7541/7544 210-240V”.

Philips 15 Box: 19 x 21,5 cm. “PHILIPS” in dark blue on the lid and on all sides; on one side a white label with “PHILIPS GARNITURE D’ILLUMINATION POUR (220 is filled in by hand) VOLTS, compose de: 18 lampes Philips forme olive …. Volts, verre laqué en 8 couleurs; avec culot Edison mignonette, et 16 douilles en série, avec cordon et fiche bipolaire.” (“PHILIPS ILLUMINATION TRIMMING FOR (220 is filled in by hand) VOLTS, composed of: 18 Philips lamps form olive…. Volts, glass enamelled in 8 colors; with Edison mignonette base, and 16 casings in series, with cord and bipolar plug.”). And in the left bottom corner DW 555 Fr. 16/1231”. In a book the box with replacement bulbs is mentioned being ca 1950, England. Judging by the silk covered cord and bakelite sockets I would think older.
Boxed Bulbs
		Bulbs 1 Box: 13,5 x 11 cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo on three sides of the lid. 20 colored lamps, diamond design. In a white panel on the side of the lid is stamped “20 14V 3W E10 Col.ass. MADE IN HOLLAND”.
		Bulbs 2 Box: 10,5 x 9cm. “PHILIPS” and the Philips logo on the lid and on all four sides, but the colors vary. 20 colored lamps, striped design. In a white panel on the side of the lid is stamped “PHILIPS 14V 3W 20 COL.ASS MADE IN HOLLAND”.
		Bulbs 4 Box: 12 x 6cm. “Etincelles de Joie” “PHILIPS” “GARNITURES POUR ILUMINATIONS” (Sparks of Joy” “Garniture for illumination”) on both sides of the box, while on the small sides there is only “PHILIPS” and on one side in a white panel is stamped ”30V Vis Mig” Etincelles de Joie “D”. 10 colored ribbed lamps, marked “’PHILIPS’ 30V ‘D’ ??”; the “D” could be an “O”. No logo.
